Early 90s rock is all I listen to anymore. I've managed to set up my Pandora station to include only 90s rock.

When it comes to general radio, I'm the same way. I can't stand any of the new age type rock, it blows.

However, you might appreciate some of the metal I listen to. None of the cookie monster vocals either.

Nevermore is the bands name. I listen to them almost exclusively, they're that good in my opinion.

I remember back in the '90s all the radio stations didn't carry all the mainstream music.

I don't think I listened to hardly any contemporary music that decade.

I look at this thread, and I don't know any of those songs.

After the 60s, 70s and 80s, I took a decade off, I guess.

You're missing a lot of good music. But that might not be a bad thing. I kind of like 'discovering' something for myself long after it hit it's peak, because I ignored it at first. It's like finding something new, even though it isn't.

Same here. I can't stand some of the music these days. I thought music would have evolved better than it has but I think people got caught up with performers instead of true artists.

I actually heard a band called Wolfmother and they are probably my favorite band of this decade.

First released in 1989, so it's lumped in with the worst decade of music ever.
