Spanish division two owner talks jerry Jones

I was in my hotel in Madrid Spain, watching some sports channel ...a owner of a division 2 Futbol team was talking and mentions ( paraphrase) " I don't want to be a general.manager, I pay quite a amount of money to have a general manager who knows more about that aspect of the team. It has been tried and always fails. For those unaware, there is a owner in American futbol, who is also a general manager, it does not work" reading sub titles I wasn't sure if I should laugh or cry.
Lol. Even a division 2 team In Spain knows this!! How rediculous!
