My wife and I stumbled upon this recipe recently & we love it. We have used it for chips & dip, but also to pour over grilled chicken. Next, we will use it on burritos and fish tacos. It is spicy. If you follow the directions as listed, the heat level will be on par with the heat of "hot" wing sauce at most restaurants. Adjust the jalapeno levels to meet your preference. You can always add more jalapeno if you want after the recipe is complete.

You need:
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayo (I have made with light mayo and regular mayo - can't tell a difference)
1/4 cup sour cream (again, I used light and regular & can't tell a difference)
1oz packet of powdered Ranch Dressing mix
4 oz can of diced green chilis
3/4 cup sliced pickled jalapenos
3 Tbsp cilantro
1 tsp salt
1tsp garlic powder
Juice from half of a lime

Directions:
1) Mix milk, mayo, sour cream, and ranch mix in a medium sized bowl. Let chill in refrigerator for at least an hour.
2) In a Cuisinart or blender, chop jalapeno, green chilies, and cilantro until fine.
3) Add pepper/cilantro mix, garlic powder, and salt to bowl with chilled dressing.
4) Squeeze lime half in to mixture and stir until well blended.

It seems to get hotter by the 2nd day, but not too hot for us. Let me know how you like it.

Printing this out now! That sounds like some good stuff!!!!

Sounds good..wish I didn't live with people so scared of anything remotely spicy.

That's a good one. I lived off that when I was in college.

Much thanks to Wimbo for sharing this fantastic recipe with us!

Went shopping today, picked up the ingredients, and made this great dip.

Enjoying it with a Dos Equis Amber right now!

Again, thanks for sharing Wimbo, cheers to you!

Nice! We had some dip left over last night, so we picked up a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store & made burritos by dicing up some chicken, making some brown rice, heating up a can of black beans, then combining chicken, rice, beans, sour cream, and shredded cheese into a folded tortilla & pouring the dip mix over the top. Very, very good.
