Lawrence gets killed by the fanbase due to lack of sack totals, but he is one hell of a player who contributes all over the field.

How do these numbers compare to the rest of the league? I never had an issue with Lawrence's performance on the field. I had an issue with his contract. He was getting $21 million a year, near the top in the league and I don't think he was performing to that level. Good players getting paid great salaries/bonuses, overall hurt the team. This is a concept that some GMs and fans seem to struggle with.

He’s not a horrible player. He is a very good player who:

1. Has a far too high salary cap number,
2. Disappears often against the better competition.
