They are reporting what the woman claimed. Why would you take that as reporting it as true?
Because reporting an accusation that the police claimed was either false or without merit and failing to report on this important part is an attempt to write a slanted article with bias. The reporting is deliberately leaving out parts so important that it's the difference between freedom and jail for Zeke. This isnt an innocent case of leaving an unimportant detail out.

His ex should be on trial. You shouldn't be able to get away with falsify claiming you were a victim of a crime.

I'd like to see the league start levying stronger punishment on the teams for continuing to pursue and tolerate violators of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy.

Obviously fines aren't deterring teams and owners like Jerry from pursuing and tolerating these type of risk. I wonder if losing draft picks or suspending front office personnel responsible for these player acquisitions might deter?

The NFL should stick to football and let law enforcement handle lawbreaking. Goodell should be fired for this nonsense and replaced by someone who isn't a frustrated gestapo wannabe.
Goodell represents the owners acting on their behalf which is to protect the image.

Generating and protecting the revenue is the business of the NFL.

To many of the fans it might be just a game but this is a multi billion dollar business with the interest of the networks and sponsors selling a product.
