Woot! Can't wait for it to arrive!

If that is Staples ship date, I wonder if I will get mine sooner since I ordered mine the day after it was announced and on the Google Play website?

Google has not yet made a formal announcement about the launch date for its Nexus 7 tablet, but according to retailer Staples, that launch is scheduled for next week.

The Google Nexus 7 will begin shipping from Staples between July 12 and 17, according to the tablet's retail product page.

I've almost bought it a couple of times.

Still waiting to see what AAPL is going to offer before I pull the trigger on my first tablet.

As it stands, my MacBook Air serves the same purpose for me.

Not entirely convinced that I need to new gadget to add to my kit.

I heard the new Kindle Fire is *rumored* to be somewhere in line with the Nexus 7 too. I believe they said it should be announced towards the end of this month or early next month. If so, I guess Amazon has done an about face in the "we only make consumption devices" mantra they've been preaching.

That said. Realty is really pushing the Nexus 7. Almost every time I see a banner on this site now, its' for the Nexus 7. :laugh2:
