Man, is "The Rise of Skywalker" getting hammered by the critics. The guy at Forbes this morning eviscerated it. The only good thing was that it looked good. And therein lies the failing of some of the films in this genre.

I think it might be better to get the take of Zoners on this one.

I don't trust the critics. They loved The English Patient.

I agree, I don't really trust the critics either but I gotta say, I find most modern films to be long on effects and short on just about everything else. All of these guys now rely on CGI but have no credible story. It's like watching a cartoon with really great VX. Tell a story and all of a sudden, everything will change but until you do that, all the effects in the world won't say the Franchise.
