Well.. the original Star Wars Trilogy were good movies.

The Twilight Saga, were not.

And I'm not even getting into my own personal opinions on the two.

Feels like anyone who watched Star Wars as a kid loved it. Now they think the new ones suck. I look at it the same gibberish about a fantasy land. Maybe its just that when youre older a Jar Jar Binks sounds sillier than if you were a kid.

I disagree.

There was a marked difference in the critical receptions of the two Star Wars trilogies.

The original Star Wars trilogy was good storytelling and film-making bolstered by state of the art special effects. The second trilogy relied on state of the art the special effects to prop up a weak story, subpar film-making, and atrocious acting.

Quoted for truth. The last Star Wars is almost unwatchable. Every scene starts with this huge panorama and then pulls into the scene. GL decided to build a movie that was almost as big as his ego.

No, those people are anal spigots There were some annoying things about some of the new ones. (especially Jar Jar) But overall they were still good movies.

The Twilight books were popular with kids before the movies were made. There was no Star Wars book, so the movie's impact was more intense.
