Played the beta a bit. For me starcraft and world of warcraft are all or nothing kind of games, and with kids I just don't have the time to devote to taking it seriously.

Gonna get it today, KMart has a 20 dollar game credit when you buy it.

Too busy playing League of Legends to even touch SCII.

I've played LoL. It's a very nice game for being free. Pretty good stuff.

As for Starcraft 2, the graphics look nice, but it appears like a big mishmash. Very hard to look at.

I will stick with the Warcraft version of it. (not WoW) I believe Warcraft 4 has a very long time before it's released.

That said, my buddy and I are looking at Diablo 3. It's looking sweet.

So far the single player campaign is really good. And the Mini Thor WoW pet kicks a lot of butt.

I've played LoL. It's a very nice game for being free. Pretty good stuff.

LoL is way more fun. LoL beats out Heroes of Newerth too by leaps and bounds, and HoN isn't free.

Just gonna stick with that. But given that SCII has map and gameplay editors, I'm sure a DotA clone will be made soon, maybe it'll be worth giving a try.

I have LoL installed. Everytime I play it though I end up losing. I'm pretty new at it and still learning, but I can't seem to get the guys on my team to work together. They are all over the place. I'm betting it's more fun if your team works together! :laugh2:

Played it for about 30 minutes today. Outside of the updated graphics, there doesn't seem to be that huge a difference to me between this and the last one. You can't even use cover, like a lot of strategy games these days.

I'll keep plugging away but so far, not very impressed. And it's an expensive game too.

For such a seemingly simple game, the learning curve is outrageous. I was so bad when I first started play it was embarrassing. I did nothing but die way too often and lose a lot. At one point I had like 20 more losses than victories. Now I'm +60 wins. Took me months to get decent, but it's really addicting.

Teamwork is key in that game and it's way more fun when there is some level of competent communication going on. Even better when you have a 5 man team in ventrilo.
