We won't know what it was worth until April, but if anyone's stock when up Thursday at FAU Pro Day, it was fullback Willie Rose.
All the times can befound here at OwlsNest.
Rose showed he was not just fast and strong, but can jump and leap. And when comparing his results with the running backs at the recent NFL combine, Rose did pretty well. Especially considering they don't differentiate between running backs and fullbacks. My guess he be right with the fullbacks.
Rose had a 4.53 40, one of the best on the day, was third in vertical jump at 34 inches, just a half inch behind Chris Bonner and Jason Harmon (the most startling of all the results to me).
There was a stiff tailwind for one of the 40s, which could diminish the result, but Rose showed off in the windless confines of the Oxley Center, where he was third in broad jump, 9-10 1/2 behind Bonner and Harmon at 10 feet.
He was fourth in bench press behind three offensive linemen, lifting 225 pounds 21 times (Kevin Miller 28, Lavoris Williams 24, and Carl Spitale 21)

Bonner ran a pretty slow 4.7 40, especially when compared what WR ran in the NFL combine, where 4.49 was good for 10th place)
-
Jason Harmon had a 4.62 40 and broad jump of 10 feet. That 40 time is in the range for TE at the combine.
Rusty got a chance to pass.

Again, hard to read a lot into these numbers. But after looking at the NFL combine, I would say Rose is the one who may grab the most attention.
Later....
