Stefon Diggs WR

Looking at the veteran fa wr's that might be cost effective to fill the team's big need for that #2 receiver as Cooks isn't expected to be resigned. My next case is Stefon Diggs from the Texans:

-Isn't he going to command #1 type of money? He is coming off of an acl tear, is over 30, might have to take a show me contract.
-Cannot rule out him and Trevon wanting to play with one another
-He isn't an elite receiver anymore, but is a darn good #2 receiver. Mind you, he is coming off of 6 straight 1k receiving seasons.
-Cowboys will know everything about him with their relationship with Mike Zimmer, who may even still be on the staff next season
-How will he be coming back from major injury? That is the question, but he tore it early in the season, similar to his brother who has looked healthy.

Diggs could be a good band aide. He is an excellent route runner, and that skill ages well

He was on pace for another 100 catch season before getting hurt. He is still very good

Really no point in spending salary cap dollars on him.

We probably need a band aide. We probably wont get a 2025 #2 WR in the draft, and no one on the roster has #2 WR talent

If they want a band aid they would resign Cooks. We don't know that Mingo or Tolbert can't be WR2 yet.

He's talented, but also is AB lite in drama. If we want steps towards a more focused team, I'm not sure Diggs is worth it, even at a discount.

Last thing we need is CDL pouting, Diggs crying for catches and Dak trying to force it to either one to keep them "happy".

I dont know if he is AB lite as far as drama
