Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on
@1053thefan
on what positions have the strongest depth in this year’s draft: “In general, believe it or not, which happens to work good for us, I’d say probably tight ends through about 5-6 rounds, if not the full draft. And then probably behind that would be, and usually is, running backs. There’s usually always a good group of running backs to choose from. The same holds for receivers, depending on what’s your flavor of what you might be looking for that particular year. There’s always a lot of receivers as well.”

Soooooo, WR, RB and TE with our first three picks in any order.

Got it, Goober.

Or is he saying WR, RB, a nd TE were so deep they could be picked up in later rounds? That's the way I read it.
It doesn't matter what he said. They draft well period and it is pretty well known that they probably will draft a running back, a receiver, and a tight end.

Have to wonder if the Ross to OG is smoke or something they believe will push OG down the board. Think the WR they want will be the 3rd in Mingo. Won't be surprised if it goes TE, RB, WR then DT, S, OG, CB.

Ball to OG means nothing. He is likely your 8th-9th OL who could be cut.

Tyler, Tyron, Biadasz, Martin, Steele, Farniok, Waletzko are all ahead of him

I think if you toss Avila at 26, they likely could do that.

Avila
Downs / Mims
Spears / Izzy
TE
I'm actually warming up to just use #26 on Steve Avila its just solid and he moves right in and starts day 1

I don't see the Cowboys going offensive line two years in a row unless it's the obvious choice. Like a lineman that fell from inside the top 20.

Yeah, RB is deep, then they trade up with the Patriots and take Bijan. This board would get very interesting.
