It appears apparent to me that Stephen is covering for Jerry's failure to act properly and permit Tyler Smith the okay to fill in for Tyron's gimpy knee.
Jerry has long been prone to keep his favorite players active, despite Tyron's knee failing to respond to his knee treatment well enough to play. This issue has been an ongoing problem for several years now and is obviously getting increasingly more likely to cause Tyron to miss playing in games.
