The video quality isn't the best, but the audio almost makes me cry...especially Life Without You.
I assume, by the name, they're a tribute band?Taken from us way to soon. One of, if not the best, guitarist to every play. Often emulated but will never be duplicated. For those who like his style, listen to a group called Texas Flood. Tommy Karina is eerily similar.
Now that's some awesome ink!
Yeah, and their goodI assume, by the name, they're a tribute band?

He came out in the 80's, so no. LolCurious why fans call him by the full name. Was that a 70s thing?
You don't think SRV had original music? I respect the Hell out of Chuck Berry and Jimi, but I'd rather listen to Stevie.Imo he isn't better than Hendrix or even Chuck Berry, who had more iconic 1950's riffs. I know you love the guy, but for me creating original music is harder too do. Not trying to offend his talent.

Technically, he started in the 70's, but his first album was Texas Flood, in '83. I saw him in '82, when his brother's band opened for Eric Clapton. Jimmy said, "I wanna introduce you to my little brother, Stevie.". Unfortunately, I was so wasted I don't remember it.Thought he started late 70s. Ok thanxs for that.
Go to 56:50 in the Albert King/ SRV video for a relevant discussion.Curious why fans call him by the full name. Was that a 70s thing?
