Our beloved Cowboys get linked to every free agent for one of two reasons.
1. CLICK, LISTENS, LIKES, VIEWS, etc.
2. To drive up interest or speculation in the player for contract reasons. (Jerry can't stay away from this)

We aren't in need of most of them or interested.

But EXPECTATIONS dictate the result. Stop EXPECTING the team to sign everyone. Trade for everyone. WE WON'T!!!

I could not agree more. I expect them to sign no one of note. Sure, they'll claim interest in players but only until the player in question puts his demands on the table.

I jusst hope they retain some of their current players, like Hankins.

Yeah…no signings of notable FAs; mostly re-signing our guys because yeah… “we like our guys”. Expect the Cowboys to maintain the status quo, ignore depth issues and weakness in key positions; while other teams improve their depth and shore-up weak positions on their rosters.
Expecting another year of mediocrity…

we are not signing anyone of significance. perhaps an older star on his way down and soon out of the league. we were last in cash spending last year. that says a lot.

That's correct.

It's funny watching fans cry and moan when most haven't a clue what they're talking about in the grand scheme of things.

It’s true that fans like to be critical without having all the facts…like maybe Ramsey was never offered to Dallas before traded, as one small example.

Thing is, after listening to Milli Vanilli speak, it’s tough to have much confidence in their ability to get this right.

I root for them, because I root for ME, but I have no confidence in them whatsoever. Even if they win it all at some point, I still won’t believe that these frauds did anything besides get lucky. That’s what their, and therefore OUR, shot has been reduced to.

It’s getting to where I may not even be able to enjoy it appropriately if it actually does happen to happen.

But there is a larger group that ties us to every FA or Trade Possibility and comes on here upset because we didn't trade for "Blah, blah player"

Yup, last yr was bad, and the team had like a dozen 1st and 2nd yr players step up. Dallas has turned over something like 70% of the roster in 2 yrs.
