Streaming advice

First time cord cutter as of 2 months ago....loving not paying 200 a month for direct tv anymore but trying to figure the best way to watch the cowboys and sports in general....

currently have:
Prime, Hulu, Netflix

What's the best way to augment for basic sports (IE the draft, national televised games, etc.)?

Also, how about games? I don't think that directv allows for streaming games unless you have full service setup.

This week with the draft is the first time im worried about access and was hoping to get some advice here so i don't miss the cowboys draft and the post analysis.

Youtube TV. It isn't available everywhere though.

If you cut the cord you probably want to invest in a nice digital antenna so you can catch all the local channels. You'd at least be able to catch the Draft on ABC and catch most the NFL games on local channels. Other sports will be harder to get though. If you already have Hulu you should look into upgrading to Hulu TV. I think that gets you all your local channels and most cable channels including sports

I have a 20 dollar open air antenna and it's pretty awesome. I get main networks clear better picture than direct tv about 40 miles from Charlotte. If you have spectrum Internet they offer 10 channels for $25. That's the best deal you can get for certain cable channels.

Just to continue adding to this convo. Right now I pay for Netflix and Youtube TV. However, you can share your Youtube TV account with like 6 people. So, I invited a friend and we go halfsies. We both get our own login, DVR, etc. I don't see his stuff and he doesn't see mine. So that puts me back about 115 a month for TV, netflix, and Internet. Luckily my wife gets fee Hulu through her phone account and we get Free HBO max through our ATT account. So that really helps. Any other shows I want to watch I will get through other "means". But I don't think we can discus that here.

does youtube tv end up getting live channels for games? IM still trying to figure all this out and worried that I will have to go back to direct tv in the fall....really dont want to. Just built a movie theater in my basement and cant wait to enjoy

It's just like cable TV. They have a free trial. Check it out.
