Hey everyone,

I haven't been on here as much lately with everything going on. I hope everyone on here is doing well. This summer we got rid of Direct TV. They just wouldn't go down on the price. We bought YouTube TV and we like it. Only problem is-there is no NFL Network. That is about the only channel I watch during football season. I would also like to purchase NFL RedZone as well. I got the Student Discount last year for Sunday Ticket but won't this year. Dallas only plays a few out of market games a year in our area so it's pointless to pay lots of money for it. I saw that you can watch NFL RedZone on your phone but would prefer to watch it on my Roku Box. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I didn't know any streaming services carried NFLN....I get it through Comcast, and RedZone comes with it.

Hulu has NFL Network if you do the cable service. I think it's $60.00 a month. Would probably be bw Youtube TV and the Hulu option price wise so, would just make sure you keep what you want if you end up going that route, etc.
I've read fubo TV is something to look into as well. I really love Red Zone for the 12:00 games. As cool as Sunday Ticket is, I just don't think it's worth the price. If I was a Dolphins fan in Indiana...maybe.

I'm in a similar situation, been converting to streaming services only over the last year, and haven't had a chance yet to see all what's out there.

From some limited research, I've found some of the Live TV Streaming services are definitely more sports friendly, and some of them are better than others at showing the local games, depending on where you live.

There are some good Google search sites that will layout the comparisons item by item with Fubo, Sling, Spectrum, PlayStation TV, YouTube, Hulu and all the others. It feels like there is a new competitor for live streaming TV every month. Cable TV will be dead soon.

The great news is even out of Texas is if its the Cowboys and they're winning, as long as you have FOX, CBS, NBC, ESPN and NFL Network, you'll probably see 80% of the games. That's from experience in 4 states. We aren't America's Team for nothing.

As far as I know{?}Hulu doesn't have the NFL network anymore, FUBO does in their 60 a month package.

I feel for ya and am in the same boat. Uverse dropped the NFL network over a year ago and by the way it looks wont ever be getting it back. I only have 3 choices if want to watch it again.

Last I heard, Peacock and HBO MAX had failed to make deals with Roku or Amazon and if you have a Samsung prior to 2017 TV, mine's a 2016, the app isn't available. I had to get Roku to get Apple TV+ and Disney+.

That only made sense if they were taking shots at the NFL over the streaming talk for the ST. They own DirecTV and Uverse. Why have it on one and not the other?

The other side of that coin is that NFLN is not really successful and like everything else, they prize it highly because of their brand.

ATT isn't offering Uverse anymore to new customers, however if you do already have it you are allowed to keep it. They removed it in April 2019 with no notice, for reasons unknown{least to me}. Direct TV however is still available and the NFLN is available on some of the packages. Dish network has dropped the NFLN as well.

It seams like with each streaming service you choose from you have to give something up. There just isn't a streaming service reasonably priced that has everything. If you choose one over the other, you're likely to give up some channels that you previously watched. Being a Yankees fan, getting the YES Network has been a pain in the behind. Right now we are with AT&T TV which is fine, but we now don't get the NFL or MLB network. Kind of frustrating but it comes with choosing a streaming option.

I am no longer a student but Direct TV is still giving me the $25 a month Sunday Ticket Option. I was shocked. I am good after all.
