I love Schmitz as well, but cannot see this team replacing Biaz, especially after being named to the pro bowl. Yes, Schmitz probably can play guard, but he is best as a Center.

I can pretty much guarantee Biadaz slipping into the pro bowl means nothing to the Boys staff. HE is a solid center and that is about it. He really improved but you have to ask if he has plateaued.

NOW of course if he takes another big step like he did this year then that is another story. I think that the likelihood is that the boys give him one more year before looking for a replacement.

Fredbeard was frankly a generational center. Expecting to find someone close to his ability is asking a whole lot. I think he was the best center the Cowboys have ever had and we have had some fine ones.
