The defense got some praise for holding Brady and the Bucs to 19 points. Yeah that part was good I guess. But when your defense cannot stop the run, you’re going to lose 95% of the time. When you absolutely need a stop, you can’t get it.
The niners told us they were going to bully us on the ground, then did it. The Bucs didn’t even need much Brady magic because their real star was their second string littered offensive line and RB Leonard Fournette. Averaged 6 yards per carry. Just brutal.

Before any DC can have an attack D, he must first have a D that can defend.
Parsons got 2 sacks on the new LT in the game and many base the D on that.
Brady was obviously shaking off some rust. If not, anyone here think they hold them to 19?

not only not stopping the run which is correct….how about forcing a punt? Like it’s great the red zone defense was stellar but what about the drive before that point?.
the defense Imo is being over glorified. It was solid.

If the defense could not stop the run but only gave up 14 points is that a big issue?

Armstrong sucks, its that simple. You have Bohanna , Armstrong, LVE on that side. Its a recipe for disaster.
Bottom line is our defense is worse with Armstrong in for Gregory.

Better get used to this. With the offense stalling out for the next 6 weeks teams are going to be attacking the defense with the run game on the right side. Its definitely our weakness.

DQ could not adjust.
LVE shooting wrong gaps or just struggled getting thru trash and recogniton/reaction time still slow as molasses. Parsons was shooting wrong gaps too.
And both Armstrong and Wilson were MIA setting edge.

I love our D, or should I say the potential of our D. But it all boils down to maintain gap control, shedding blocks,reading your keys and flying to the ball…in other words “know your job”. How many times did we see open lanes with defender losing contain, or not wrapping up, or shooting the wrong gap? I think it was especially on the right side of our D-line. I think Tampa amassed over 100 yards running to their left.

DQ made no noticeable adjustments in game as far as I could tell.
Our qb was also shaking off some rust too obviously only the rust never came off Dak! Ancient Brady did just fine

I thought Quinn had a horrible game. He was so worried about Brady so he put Micha on the line. That left LVE and a Safety most of the time manning the LB spots. They basically ran away from our interior knowing two LB’s and corners couldn’t stop Fatso RB. They did their homework

When Parsons was flattened by Fournette, it was on left (weak) side.

Woody's girl--- you brought some solid evidence that might prove our stuff is correctable even with McGovern out.....will put Peters LT and Tyler LG....or maybe leave Tyler LT he was not crummy at all
and i got this new like shot of adrenaline about Cooper Rush....remember last year Halloween.....in Minnesota....Rush played like real decent starter.....my emotions are up and down and i aint a chick
but now settling down and excited about game against Cincy.....Moore has to put together a scheme that not only starts out well but he has plugged in already when and how to make adjustments....
we might have been # 1 offense on paper last year but when it counted....nawww.....lets let Dak rest and give Rush a shot is what excites me cause i believe we can correct many errors...we will have to run to pass
with Rush but why we abandon Zeke last week?...10-52...5.2 per carry
