Suisham should be above criticism for his two missed FG's

Mainly because he wasn't supposed to be kicking either one of them. His first attempt was because stupid Wade was to scared to go for it on 4th and 1 and rather have the kicker come out and kick a long FG. Then his second attempt was a result of the Cowboys screwing up a nice drive which looked to be a TD drive but went backwards instead and had to settle for another long FG.

So I don't blame him at all because what really happened in the game was a lot bigger than both misses. Not Suisham's fault that Wade was too stupid to know that a 3-0 lead on the road is nothing in a playoff game.

Except that Kickers get paid big $$$ to make 50 plus yarders, otherwise give him minimum wage.

Wade's a defensive coach. he knows getting points are huge, especially when your defense has been as dominant as ours had been the past 4 weeks or so, and basically the 2nd half of the season.

There isnt much excuse for missing FG's in a dome unless they are really long kicks or you have a really weak legged kicker. A 48-49 yd FG in a dome is like a 40 yd FG outside in the weather, wind etc etc. He got the kicks there with no problem, He just missed them.

Did anyone honestly expect him to make them?

pretty pointless to ***** about his misses IMO blame your selves for expecting him to make them.

We're gonna have to blow a draft pick on a kicker this offseason since we can't sign FAs unless there's a new CBA

Garett and Wade put Suisham in a situation that made it easy for him to fail.

He may still get released but i don't see how 34-9 changes the outcome.

Yeah that was awful, trot the guy out there for a FG.

I mean hell, its the guys only damn job and all.

he wasn't clutch for Washington this year. why would we expect it today? was he the only option, or the cheapest option?

Even if he made the Vikings still would have had the momentum up 17-6. In the playoffs you need TD's not FG's
