#8 is the best.

Not even close.

Though, #8 would be better without Huff's face showing....to much going on with it there. Take of his face, and it looks clean and crisp.


And maybe make the pic of him in the white jersey stand out a little bit more, not too much...but a little bit. As it stands, Michael Huff's face draws attention away from the white jersey pic, which IMO, is not what you want to do.

#1 is winning because it is very stylish and artistic but is not overdone. Though I would prefer a different color scheme the design is very good.

#8 is plane and simple (clean and crisp if you like) but is completely devoid imagination. I do not understand how it is getting so many votes.

#10 shows good imagination and excellent color choice but the player is way too prominent and detracts from the design. And what is that pile of stuff at the bottom between the player’s legs?

Just a suggestion...you should put pics of all the entries in BOTH threads. That would make it easier to compare them. As it is, I have a feeling that any entries higher than 10 will be at a significant disadvantage.

personally, I thought #2 was the best. The color scheme is good, it's simple, and flows nicely. Easy to look at, and instantly identifiable.

Not a big fan of the ones with random color schemes, that have nothing to do with the players school or the Cowboys. But that's just me.

I did like #20 and the whole locomotive theme thing. It is unfortunate that Ngata had to wear such an ugly uniform that it detracted from the overall effect of the design.

I would have liked #2 had the artist employed some half-tones to mute the effect. As it is, it is just too stark IMO. But as you mentioned it does have a good color scheme and a nice flow.

the very reason why comments like this hurt these contests. Where is your sig? hideous is a bit harsh, if you have a keen eye for graphics why not tell him how he could make it better
