Superbowl Sunday and being a Cowboys fan!

I can only imagine of how the teams in the Superbowl have felt leading up to the Superbowl. I would love as a Cowboys fan that we could experience this feeling leading up to the big game and then playing in the big game. Our players main goal every season should not be stat padding, or personal achievement, but it should be about winning the game that they work hard for leading up to the season. I'm hoping that management somehow finds a brain and gets actually sick of not being where these other teams have been. It's time for us to bring Glory back to this franchise, minus the circus mentality.

As a Cowboys fan, what are you feeling right now knowing that this isn't us in the big game, does it bother you, you're not bothered at all, or you're hopeful that one day it could be us again??? With the right moves, and no significant injuries, this team could potentially have something special. For the people that are going to hate on this comment, I said POTENTIALLY, yes it looks far away, but things can change for the better if we want better!!!!!! I'll be helping out a buddy on his dairy farm instead of watching the game today. That's a much more enjoyable way to spend my time than watching two teams I care nothing about play.

I hate both teams, and right now can care less who wins. I may decide who I will pull for before the game or shortly after it starts.

I am almost temped to root for the Eagles, as not to have KC 3-peat. Though that is what the NFL wants.
I am tired of the NFL and that singer lady they keep showing. People whine saying Jerry is all about the $$$, well the NFL is worse.

I have a friend that is a KC fan, and very arrogant. But also said he always liked the Eagles. But he only said this within the last year. He only likes the teams that win from year to year. I call him out on it all the time in front of everyone.
Another friend is an Eagles fan. He is pretty cool and laid back, not arrogant about them. So that is why I may pull for the Eagles. My bartender friend, she also does not like KC. So we been talking about going for the Eagles.

As for a fan of Dallas and they aren't playing yet again in a SB, we are used to this for 28 years now.
Our football pool, every score change, including extra points, pays $700. I have AFC 3, NFC 1. It was $200 per square.

I've watched every SB the Cowboys have ever participated in. And, yes, this soon-to-be 64-year-old can still remember his 34-year-old self basking in the greatness of our last championship team, as they earned a redemptive win over the hated Steelers (thanks in large part to Neil O'Donnell).

I have money on the game, so is only reason I will watch, because whichever team wins their fans will be insufferable anyway. Being a cowboy fan there are no feelings anymore, I doubt we will get there again while Im still alive.

I watched all the SBs the Boys played in, I just wished I cherished the last one more than I did......that the buffoon Switzer coached that last team made that season unbearable to watch, but thanks to the Niners losing, Neil ODonnell and Troy, Emmitt and Michael willing us through despite the clown show, they did win it......I just didnt think it would be the last for this long.

Hate the Eagles fan base and a few of the Eagles players/Coach. KC players are mostly respectable and love Andy Reid as a HC. The Chiefs organization is pretty classy and the Hunt family has been the ideal ownership. I'm absolutely surrounded by KC fans (live in SW MO) and am so tired of that damn chant they do with the arm wave thing. They even play that chit at work, ugh.... I would love to see both lose, which can't happen, lol. I would root for the Chiefs, except I'll never hear the end of it if they 3-peat, something we Cowboys fans were literally robbed of in the feud between booger and Jimmy. Every sentient being old enough to be around and watch football in the 1990's knows it should have been a 4-peat - case closed. As much as I hate to do it, I'm going to root for the to Eagles blow-out the Chiefs. lol
