Swap Juanyeh Thomas With Kearse?

Someone explain to me why Juanyeh Thomas wouldn’t be just as good or better in the Kearse role as Kearse is.

I’ve seen him shoot gaps and make TFLs, I’ve seen him have PBUs on TEs… I just don’t know he could be worse.

hoping his play is from lack of TC and injury, but hes definitely been a huge disappointment from last years performance

I said it last week, get Juanyeh Thomas in a rotation with Dono and Kearse because there's no way this guy should be on the sideline.

Kearse is playing his last season in Dallas, and I'm all for JT replacing him sooner if Kearse keeps playing poorly. Slow, missing tackles, making wrong coverage calls, staying blocked...just some uninspiring football from JK. He needs to put #27 back on.

I agree but we have about 14 of them on the roster so why not try some different combos. Thomas has looked really good in actual games so maybe reward him with more snaps on defense.

I had similar thoughts. Thomas over either Kearse or Wilson.

Both Kearse and Wilson seem to make a lot of dumb mistakes and commit dumb penalties. The defense seemed better when Wilson was out...
