I have never seen a more vanilla, and broken run game in my life. There is no misdirection, no stretch plays, no wide runs. Its all up the middle. For the life of me I couldnt figure out what MM was doing last night with the run. Pollard isnt built to run between the tackles like that. This run game doesnt play to his strengths at all.

The one one to the outside they had went for a big gain (albeit called back for a hold) but it was there. MM needs to spend 24 hours a day remaking this run game. 22 hours wasnt enough obviously.

Are there any consultants out there we could bring in that could help facilitate this?

Thoughts?

The more we stray from Garrett and Moore being here the similarities still stay. Maybe Jerry drafts up the playbook.

It feels like they think their starting line can still overpower any front 7.

Get Dowdle in space. Pitch outs. Same with Pollard.

Utilize their wheels.

That’s the problem with these old school coaches. Keep pounding everything with the same results.

You can’t fix the run game without fixing the offense line .

Throw some to Pollard in stride so he can bust out.

You have to keep running the ball. Even if you can’t, you have to let them at least think you might run. But I do know what you’re saying.

Ive read it here.. its dak's fault...

In seriousness, how many times is MM gonna run a shotgun up the middle for no gain? Like you said we need to be running out in space, but that would mean we have to run out of a different formation. Our two best runs came on the outside (Pollard and Cooks) but lamb held on one. I personally think Dowdle needs more carries if we're going to run between the tackles. I also think this would open up the bootleg playaction game.
