Injuries are part of it but some players did not come up to scratch and Stroud is the most obvious oneThats awful!
This season has not gone as well as Houston expected
Nah, their o-line was extremely suspect. They shored it up some, but Stroud was seeing ghosts.Injuries are part of it but some players did not come up to scratch and Stroud is the most obvious one
Maybe its a sophomore slump and maybe he is a one off who has a great year and then never is as good again
Next year they will find out
and that is a failure on his part. Look at Burrow; how often his O line has stank. He still gets it done. Not always but often enough. Stroud has to get past that or become just another coulda beenNah, their o-line was extremely suspect. They shored it up some, but Stroud was seeing ghosts.
Just watching the Ravens game Stroud was under a lot of pressure and they show a view of the field and all the WRs and TE are running around 25 yards down the field. What the heck is that OC calling. Reminds me of some of the plays with Dak against SF.and that is a failure on his part. Look at Burrow; how often his O line has stank. He still gets it done. Not always but often enough. ....but Joe Burrow's team record suffers with a bad OL too, Stroud experiencing bad OL play and WR injuries.......no QB is expected to perform consistent with a bad OL and depleted WR group. Not the only problems, but major problems.and that is a failure on his part. Look at Burrow; how often his O line has stank. He still gets it done. Not always but often enough. Burrow might be an exception. Mahomes improved in that regard as well. But most QBs struggle mightily with a poor OL or constantly under pressure. Then it makes it that much more difficult when we're trying to evaluate a 2nd year QB.and that is a failure on his part. Look at Burrow; how often his O line has stank. He still gets it done.
