Defense

-Man up. They don’t have any receivers who can beat you. Their #1 WR still has the drops.
-Apply pressure with those extra defenders. It will keep Schultz, Zeke/Pollard, any weapons they do have, blocking. Still lack of trust on that Oline and will keep blockers in.
-Their OC loves cute plays. Be ready. He won’t commit to the running game when it’s working.

Offense

-Run it down their throat. They still can’t stop it. Control the clock. Their offense is so bad they’ll never get a chance to play from ahead. Negates their speed and pass rush strengths.
-Keep your eye on #11 at all times. He moves all over and he’s the best player in the league.
-If you have a good QB, and Oline provides protection against that rush, take your shots methodically. You will win some with their man defense.

No offense but you are missing a major key point. The other team will need to have Tom Brady. Our defense is going to cause a lot of problems to non goat QBs.

This has been going on since November 7th.

Dak (and Kellen even more so) can't beat Cover 2. Kellen will abandon the run by the 3rd, successful or not.

It’s nothing anyone else didn’t know. They just confirmed it. This fan base knew it also.

Every fan who pays attention and is honest with themselves, already knew the cowboys’ weaknesses. NFL coaches certainly did too.

For the other teams defense, it’s simply line them up against our offense….they should do well

TB played mostly zone defense.

Any halfway smart fan could have told you how to play us.

- Double Lamb, make the JAGs around him beat you
- Attack the left side of the OL where there was a rookie LT, a weak LG and a questionable C.
- Power run against our interior DL setting up play action, etc.

It's not rocket science. If I and a bunch of others can see where we have holes and are flawed, then sure as crap quality OCs and DCs are going to exploit us.

You don’t need to be a numbers-driven analytic savant to know that this would be our demise this year, a set of two good eyes would be enough.

Which is apparently one more set of eyes than the Cowboys had when assembling this mess over the offseason.

TB played mostly zone defense.

Ehhh they played some man too. For example, the Houston comeback route that he and Dak missed on? That was man. The pass over the middle that Lamb was triple covered on? Man.

They basically either played man and doubled Lamb or played zone but shifted coverage towards Lamb.

Actually, considering how little rest the defense got, I think holding Brady to 19 points was pretty decent.

Dak is getting worse. He made a lot of bad decisions, and when he made good decisions, he made bad throws. I didn't see a lot of wide open receivers, but I'm sure if we could see the whole field they're would have been more, but even when they were wide open, Dak was throwing behind them, over them, or arcing the ball and giving the defenders more time to get there.
I hate to say it, but I think Rush actually played better than Dak in his limited time on the field.

Yeah, he's going to be out a good 8 weeks.

Actually, considering how Dak played tonight, it may have been the best thing that could have happened.
