So the players report and arrive in Oxnard, CA today. We will get to see the great tent wall, so we don't have to see the hideous houses. :muttley:

I believe they stopped the physicals when reporting several years back or more.
But I am sure will get to see who may be out of shape a bit.

I expect Lewis to start out on PUP. Possibly Steele and Pollard. If those 2 do not, then I expect them to just do some sideline work to start out for a week or so.
They will have 3 unpadded practices I believe per the CBA anyway. So it is not like they will miss much.

I think the new 30% offense will be very generic, and won't see much until regular season week 1.
I also believe we will see many rotations in the defense mixing up the 1 and 2's in different looks.

My biggest concern is Martin, then injuries and then getting contracts done so the questions don’t linger all season.

What I’m optimistic about is seeing the preseason games and getting a feel for McCarthy calling the plays. I’m also excited for Malik Davis, my pet cat from last season, showing everyone he can be a major contributor. I feel he’s going to shock us all.

I’m also excited that we had a relatively quiet offseason. No major drama or controversy. I’m a big believer that drama free off seasons hurt the start of the season and sometimes bad off seasons set the tone for the regular season. So I’m pretty excited going into TC.

One thought, this is one step closer to the real deal because this is as boring as the offseason to me.

I only care about one thing between now and the real deal, injuries and games lost by starters.

I like the moves they made in the offseason. If Dak can clean up some of the turnovers, I know they were not all his fault, I think we should be a pretty competitive team!

Everyone should be there, that's what I think.

Feel worried about the OL depth and how that may impact the season. Just don't feel like they've done much there this offseason. Going to be relying on a broken down guy and a player coming back gimpy from an ACL tear as the tackles. Guess we are going to find out.

I think the coach needs to crank up the offense immediately. The offense looked liked they took the preseason off last year, especially the player that touches the ball 2nd most.

They better be practicing the new parts of the offense every day, every practice.

Always hope for no big injuries. Other than that camp doesn't interest me.

I want to see if Tolbert will become the player we projected him to be

I'm truly thrilled to see so many excellent players being welcomed onto the Dallas Cowboys roster.

Hopefully, they'll set great records of success. Here's hoping they all perform up to their potentials.

it's really a treat to see this team finally bringing in the outstanding talent that they've accumulated.

Martin will get paid, I don’t think he needs preseason. I wish I could say this about others.

Being so close to Gillette Stadium, I will attend many practices. Try to stay cool, cowboy family.
