This is probably a pointless thread as I will probably be talking to myself as there doesn't appear to be any TCU fans here. (I think I know of one, but haven't seen him in a long time)
Anyhow. I've been lucky enough to see some of the TCU games this season. Pretty cool considering I usually never get any of them up here in the Northeast. I suppose they get a bit more respect now that they aren't just in the top 25, but also now in the Big 12.
Now, I've got to say. They don't appear to be anything like the team they used to be. They are still a good team. (they still have the longest winning streak going) Pachall is extremely talented, but he is incredibly immature as a QB. I suppose that should be expected, but I think it really sticks out especially since he will be directly compared to Andy Dalton who was very mature as a QB.
The rest of the offense isn't near as good as they have been either. I believe the average age of the team is sophomore so I guess that is to be expected too.
The defense is playing pretty well though overall. Of course the offense needs to help them out more. They are leaving them on the field quite a bit. They had UVA scoreless up until the end. I guess at some point you are going to cave if your offense keeps leaving you on the field.
I suspect life is going to get a bit tougher in the coming weeks when the heart of the Big 12 comes through town. I'm not sure how they will fair, but it's definitely going to be interesting to watch!
