i posted this because you all know how the giants have plagued us last few years, now they maybe without 2 of their key starters;

Kevin Boss-TE- Giants May. 21 - 10:14 am et

Kevin Boss is set for arthroscopic surgery on his ankle next week.

Boss, who dealt with ankle pain throughout much of last season after spraining it in Week 4, is only expected to miss 4-6 weeks. The notorious tough guy should be 100 percent by training camp, and speed has never been his game anyway. Boss is a reliable red zone target for Eli Manning but doesn't get enough targets to be trusted in fantasy.

Kevin Boothe-G- Giants May. 21 - 10:08 am et

Giants backup G/T Kevin Boothe tore a pectoral muscle earlier this week and is expected to miss about four months.

If the four month recovery time proves to be accurate, Boothe will be be right around Week 1. Still, it's a blow to the depth of the Giants' reliable offensive line. Boothe is one of the better versatile backups in the league.

Giants' Boss needs ankle surgery, Boothe has torn pectoral
Posted by Michael David Smith on May 21, 2010 10:43 AM ET
New York Giants tight end Kevin Boss and offensive lineman Kevin Boothe will both have surgery next week.

Boss, who started 15 games last season and had career highs in catches (42) and yards (567), needs arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle. After having the procedure on Monday, he's expected to need four to six weeks to recover, so he should be at full speed by the start of training camp.

Boothe, who played in all 16 games last year with two starts, is more seriously injured: He suffered a torn pectoral muscle while working out this week and will have surgery on Tuesday. He's expected to be out four months, so he'll likely miss the start of the regular season.

The Giants announced that most of the players recovering from 2009 injuries are participating in organized team activities, including running back Brandon Jacobs (knee surgery), defensive end Justin Tuck (shoulder), fullback Madison Hedgecock (shoulder), center Shaun O'Hara (elbow), guard Rich Seubert (shoulder), wide receiver Mario Manningham (shoulder) and linebacker Gerris Wilkinson (wrist).

One is a reserve lineman, expected to just miss the start of the season.

The other is going to be 100% by training camp.
