I think a lot falls on coaching and prep. Undisciplined penalty machine is because the coaches don't hold anybody accountable. They don't game prep well and don't make in-game adjustments. This coaching staff needs élite players and we don't have that
A real GM that has the vision to put together a complete team instead of drafting toys and injury bargains. That’s where it all starts, the roster is just the symptoms.
They fold on the road against comparable teams. They don’t have mental toughness and “grit”. I don’t understand this at all since it’s the same game whether on road or at home. The only explanation is they let the crowd get to them which makes no difference in the game. Until the players psychologically understand this, they will not win a SB.
You all Dak fanboys don’t get it. If the read isn’t quick for Dak, he holds onto the ball way too long. He’s a mess in the pocket and indecisive. He took sacks when he had WRs open. It’s the same thing all over again. Then you blame the OL for not giving him 30 seconds to throw.
What discipline is there in an offense that relies on the QB to break pocket if the second read isn’t there?
Imagine when Tyron smith decides to hang it up with an extended Dak contract.. You think it’s easy to replace an all-pro L, first ballot HOFer LT?
An elite QB, a good GM, mental discipline, a run game, depth on the O-Line, a DT, an innovative head coach, physicality, accountability, an owner we can stand to look at or listen to, a balanced approach at team building.....
