The only team to win their next game after playing the Cowboys is the Giants who had a miraculous come-from-behind game where they came back from down 28-7 to win 31-28.

So far, every other team has lost their next game after playing the Cowboys regardless of who won the game.

It will be interesting to see if the Rams continue this pattern when they play the Packers next game.

Theories:

1. The experience of playing the Cowboys leaves them deeply traumatized.

2. The experience of playing the Cowboys leaves them deeply overconfident.

3. The experience of playing the Cowboys leaves them physically beat up.

4. The experience of playing the Cowboys leaves them emotional or mentally drained.

5. They were so fixated on wanting to beat the Cowboys that they couldn't match their intensity the following week.

6. It is meaningless, a mere coincidence, the small sample size reflects a set of random results that prove nothing.

The first five are fun to consider. The last one is no fun at all.....and probably correct.

I think most teams ride an emotional peak when they play the cowboys bc the game is usually nationally televised. It’s like a playoff game. So they get all amped up and that’s hard to do the following week which is probably just another regular season game at high noon and not a national showcase game.

7. Our wins have been against bad teams....that simply don't win many games...whether it's the gamebafter us, or 2 games before us, etc.

Once again "making EVERYTHING all about us"....even things that have 0 to do with us.

Really need to develop a drug to cure narcissism
