He's just not responsively natural all the time now. He has to invest more in technique and focus upon his head's up opponent. He has to become more focused and immediately reacting to opponents. Confidence while executing his job.Steele's injury has been greatly underestimated. The "before" and "after" is glaring. It's become obvious that either the injury has permanently damaged his abilities or he is still in a healing process and just wasn't ready to compete.
And thus its even more an indictment of the coaching staff and front office for blowing this call. Paying him and not preparing for him to NOT BE READYThis is an excellent analysis and perfectly describes the problem Terence had against the Eagles. I am pretty sure he has had this all year and I also suspect the Eagles saw it on video and planned to attack him as they did.
But I still think it could be his injury. He is using his outside arm because he cannot get outside quick enough. He over commits to the outside and then they beat him inside. It is easy to say he just needs to get his inside arm up and into the rusher but if the rusher is quicker to the left than Terence it is impossible for him to get his inside arm into the rusher.
I posted a video yesterday aof Zeke highlight but there is one TD run against the Eagles where Ternce blocks Fletcher Cox out of the hole and move him at least 4 yards out of the play. Fletcher Cox does not get shoved around like that much, but Steele abused him. That is what is missing from teh Cowboys running game. Remember, when you have a knee injury, you can;t use it for months. Muscle atrophies and strength is lost. That needs to be rebuilt through therapy and exercise. Terence may just need more time to rehab the muscles in his leg so he can push and move like he did before.
And he clearly is not 100% back and frankly a fair amount under that. He's just not responsively natural. He has to invest more in technique and focus upon his head's up opponent. He has to become more focused and immediately reacting to opponents. Confidence while executing his job.
Coaches are fine...The solari special
His lateral movement is much less; that is the problem. His agility is bad; that has to be the injury. His hand placement and anchoring is suspect , makes you wonder his injury was leg related or head related, LOL,
his initial push is fine meaning he is not slowed by injury but mentally he is not there .

As I stated yesterday he tore his ACL and MCL December 11th. It’s a miracle he’s even out there. It’s take Gallup and OBJ and others forever to come backSteele's injury has been greatly underestimated. The "before" and "after" is glaring. Was it a miracle or poor decision making? As I stated yesterday he tore his ACL and MCL December 11th. It’s a miracle he’s even out there. It’s take Gallup and OBJ and others forever to come back
