Texas representing in the Super Bowl!

If before the season started, someone looked into a crystal ball and said to me that both the NFC and AFC would have representation tied to Texas, I'd be jumping for joy that somehow our Cowboys made it to the Super Bowl! And yes, both the NFC and AFC have Texas ties to the big game. Patrick Mahomes is from Tyler, and Jalen Hurts is from Houston.

Hey Jerry, put that in your **********! Two Texas QB's in the big game, none of them playing for us.

Hurts is actually a good kid with a great family from the Houston area. His Dad coaches high school football. With that said, go Chiefs!! LOL

Yeah I love Hurts. Great guy. Easy to root for if he wasn't a Eagle. Only bad thing I can say about him is the team he got drafted to. And if they win a small part of me is happy for him. Nothing agains thim just the team he plays for.

Plus you don’t hear about Hurts repping the area because he grew up a big Houston fan. Not all Texas origins are created equal
