The WAC has, in the past, been a decent athletic conference, but that's all over now. The fact they had to settle for these three shows they are ready to become among the lowest of D-I conferences.

Funny thing, UTSA doesn't even have a football team yet. They're still putting it together.

actually, they do, they just dont play anybody. larry coker is the coach. it wouldnt be fair to put together a full freshman team and train them in one off season.

Hmm... If Hawaii stays in the WAC, I might make a trip out to San Antonio.

That's what I meant. Before I quit listening to San Antonio sports radio, they did quite a bit of coverage on UTSA, and a whole show segment on the chances of UTSA and TSU joining the WAC. Funny how two teams are an hour apart, and then Hawaii is 5 times zones away.
