TCU is going to suck next year. They graduate a lot of guys. I was kidding about them sucking, but they will take a step back. Most teams would with the losses they will have.

If you have to cut a game, you are not going to cut a home game. Not unless you can get equivalent money in return.

I do think TCU's success plays a part, but it is not the only reason.

I don't personally know what they are losing and what they have coming back, but I do recall watching a discussion between commentators before one of the bowl games and they were all making predictions about next year, and one predicted TCU would win it all. I know they will have to replace their longtime QB, so that may be the biggest problem. I just glanced through their website and saw they had 3 highly ranked freshemen QB's this past year, but just how ready they will be as sophomores may be the key. At least with 3 the odds are better.

They'd rather spread raider rash and get smashed than play football.

It will be hard to replace Andy Dalton. Unless they pull a rabbit that can play QB out of their hat, they will take a step back next year. I'm damn happy they came away with a Rose Bowl championship this year while they still had Dalton.

Essentially, Texas Tech had to drop a non-conference opponent in order to fit in it's 9 game schedule with the Big 12. They decided to keep New Mexico and Nevada, but not play TCU.

Tech is not in the NC picture and TCU should have an easier time filling in a competitive schedule now that they are in an AQ conference.

Where's the beef?
