Thanks for sharing this......I did not know about betting via apps. I guess that makes it nearly impossible to build any outstanding debts, which is good. But still, an addiction is an addiction that should be taken seriously. The scary thing is all the NIL money being thrown at the kids.

Sorbsy betting on games several years ago on games that he himself never played in is NOT ILLEGAL.

They don’t even compare. Apples to oranges.

Pete Rose wasn't imprisoned for betting on baseball, but he was banished from the game. Gambling presents a uniquely existential threat to sport which is why penalties are so severe. The NFL has strict no gambling policies for players for this reason. It's got nothing to do with legality.

This kid may have 1st round talent, but the gambling addiction is going to kill his stock even if he's allowed to play.
