I read this morning that arson is suspected in at least one fire. Reported to be two young girls, and I believe that this is the one which caused two deaths. If I run across the link again I'll share it.

I don't recall spending my youth being destructive or mean-spirited in any form...what is wrong with these kids today?

Yeah, i know I sound like an old man. They'd better stay out of everyone's yard.

I was at a friends house the other day, which is only a few of miles away from the fire in Steiner Ranch in west Austin. As we were driving through the neighborhood we saw a bunch of residents with shovels and garden hoses. They flagged us down to talk to us. They had seen a couple of idiots who shot fireworks out of their truck into the brush starting a small fire and then drove off. The residents were able to put out the small fire easily enough and called the sheriff's department. They were just telling us to be on the look out.
These guys are arsonists and I hope they get caught and severely punished.
