if only he was 170,he was measured at 156 lb.there is no doubt he is a great prospect but that size will scare away teams from drafting him in the 2nd rd.Season ticket holder for the Ducks. Love Tez and he’s the right kind of guy but he’s exclusively a slot guy and probably weighs 170 lbs soaking wet. We’ve already got a receiver like that
Don't we already have a similar sized player in Turpin? People compare him to Dell but Dell has been hurt every year.He had a great interview on the Draft Show tonight. He would be a good pick at 44. He had an outstanding week at the Senior Bowl.
I think that he does go before our 3rd round pick.if only he was 170,he was measured at 156 lb.there is no doubt he is a great prospect but that size will scare away teams from drafting him in the 2nd rd.
I thought the Dell injury in 2023 was the fault of the Texans putting him in a bad situation on the goal line. Your point on Turpin is valid. They could go in a different direction with a receiver in Jack Bech from TCU. However, Tez Johnson looks solid. He gets excellent separation and passes the interview and character part of the process. His story is interesting he is the adopted brother of Bo Nix. I would be happy with Tez Johnson or Jack Bech.Don't we already have a similar sized player in Turpin? People compare him to Dell but Dell has been hurt every year.
Usually this team has a distinct WR prototype-over 6 feet and 200 lbs. MM was the 1st to use smaller receivers, but look at the others on the current roster, they all fit that prototype. Will this new staff be more open to taking a smaller receiver?I thought the Dell injury in 2023 was the fault of the Texans putting him in a bad situation on the goal line. They might like Bech or they could take McMillan, Burden, or Egbuka in the 1st round.Usually this team has a distinct WR prototype-over 6 feet and 200 lbs. Burden also might be a little small for their liking but he is very close to what they target, let's see what he measures at the combine. Agree, on the others, although Bech isn't a 1st rd prospect. We also need to add Golden from Texas. They might like Bech or they could take McMillan, Burden, or Egbuka in the 1st round.
Bech would be a consideration at 44. Bech and Johnson would be in play at 44.Burden also might be a little small for their liking but he is very close to what they target, let's see what he measures at the combine. Agree, on the others, although Bech isn't a 1st rd prospect.
Yes.Bech would be a consideration at 44.
Ooooof I didn’t realize that was the weigh in. He’s so elusive and slight but if they wanna take him in 6th and have him play special teams then sureif only he was 170,he was measured at 156 lb.there is no doubt he is a great prospect but that size will scare away teams from drafting him in the 2nd rd.
He is clearly a 2nd round pick.Ooooof I didn’t realize that was the weigh in. He’s so elusive and slight but if they wanna take him in 6th and have him play special teams then sure
I do love Savion. If we land one of these guys we will be betterTez is a talent and I like his game, however, for the Cowboys they someone who can also block in the run game. I just envision a bigger WR like Bech, Savion, Stanford guy and Higgins.
My pick would be Jack Bech or Tez Johnson at 44.I do love Savion. If we land one of these guys we will be better
Burden
Golden
Egbuka
Bech
Savion
Tez- his intangibles separate him
I like Tez, he has the right mental make up. That interview was great. My pick would be Jack Bech or Tez Johnson at 44.
