If the Cowboys fail to trade down, they could target Cal DE Cameron Jordan instead of USC OT Tyron Smith, according to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline.
The Cowboys haven't been scared off by Smith's surgically repaired knee, but there's some sentiment that they can plug 'n' play a veteran free agent at right tackle instead of going with a rookie in a short offseason. Pauline's choice as the most underrated player in the draft, Jordan is also reportedly "very high" on the Commanders' board.

I love Jordan and much rather have him than JJ Watt but at 9? I dont think so. In a trade down sure. I do love the strategy of plugging a vet RT and grabbing OL in r2 or 3. I think too many of us are focused on fixing the whole line in this draft that's just is not going to happen.
