Very surprised at how good Spider-Man looks, as I was a little perturbed that they wanted to reboot it so quickly. Avengers is just going to be amazing, so I will leave it at that. What do you guys think?

I wasn't into comics when I was a kid, but I have to admit I love these types of movies now. They both look very good, but I wish Spider-Man didn't have Emma Stone in it. She rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

The Spiderman reboot really doesn't look sufficiently different from the last one.

That there is crazy talk.

The Spiderman movie looks really good, I'm surprised too, but excited. Its such a compelling story. I like that his web is a machine and not part of him...that's true to story.

The Avengers movie does not excite me at all. Robert Downey Jr gives me hope, but otherwise it looks like a dud to me.

I feel the same exact way. Spider-man brought back super hero movies for us and then they decided to just do away with the whole thing. But I am surprised at how good it looks.

Avengers just looks awesome and I am really excited about it. Been waiting for years for it.

"I have an army."

"Yeah, well, we have a Hulk."

I wish she would rub me the wrong way.

Spiderman looks good, glad they decided to put a darker spin on the underwhelming original.

Avengers just looks like your run of the mill smash and grab Superhero movie. Bet on plenty of corny one-liners and overdone special effects.

Both look exceptional. I really favor the mechanical form of Spider Man's web since it was how the comics started. It was also his limitation, since he was always running out of the liquid used to spin the fibers when shot out.

Avengers looks great. Someone 'splains to me who the red head is? I know the rest.

Scarlett Johansson. She plays Black Widow.

Scarlett > Emma...but those ripping on Emma...come on man!!!?? She is perfect for Gwen Stacy. Much better fit than Kirsten Dunst was for Mary Jane, and plus just like the comics she was his first love, so the story can progress more naturally with her. I've never even read many of the comics, but to me, this portrayal seems more like an authentic adaption than Sam Raimi's.

My only problem with Spider-Man so far is The Lizard's look, which I think is probably just a progression of his transformation.

I'm still skeptical about the new Spider-man. Sony/Columbia basically had to make this movie to keep the rights to Spider-man from going back to Marvel. They also forced Sam Raimi's decisions for the third movie which is why it wasn't as good as the first two.

Also making it "dark and edgy" is a very predictable copy of the new Chris Nolan Batman movies, Spider-man isn't really supposed to be "dark".

I actually liked the Sam Raimi movies, and besides a few things like the webshooters I think they were more true to the original comics.

That's my opinion as well. Gonna have to see a bit more for it to be justified in my eyes.

As for the Avengers, I can't wait for this....
