No, not by my Eye Test. And no, not by the results in the biggest games against the better teams. Maybe against bad QBs and bad o-lines.

I just get tired of hearing this statement about this defensive line, even if the "pressure" stats say they are dominant. Puhlease...

OhhhhhhVER......RAyyyyyyyyyyTED!!!!!!!

Trade Parsons, get some 1st-round picks, find an edge rusher and a DT in free agency. Let's move on from this incredible defensive line that we haven't been able to count on when the light is the brightest.

The title of my thread was changed. The original title was "The Best Past Rush In The League!", not sure why...

I think it's true that the Cowboys have a top pass rush in the league, but it's beyond obvious that if you can't stop the run and force teams into passing situations it wont matter.

The Packers respected our pass rush, that's why they came out in heavy sets and ran so much.

We couldn't stop the run and blew coverages like it was our job, so the pass rush didn't have any chance to impact the game. Just how GB wanted it.

There were some times when the Cowboys got the Packers in an obvious pass rush situation, and the pass rush didn't get home. And those putrid Quinn blitzes didn't work either.

And yes, the secondary's zone coverages were beyond putrid.

A total collapse on defense. It was pitiful.

The Cowboys defense was just overpraised and overrated. If the Dee wasn't getting turnovers or sacks, they were average at best.

The Packers kept RBs and TEs in for pass protection most of the time. That left fewer receives to cover, which makes the poor coverage we saw even more embarrassing. The Packers respected the pass rush but not our secondary apparently.

Keep in mind, the Packers were 3rd least sacked team in the league.
