Isn't the team who scores the most points. The teams who aspire to that get beat in the playoffs year after year after year.

Our roster is simply not very good and thx to the fuhrer and son, we are in salary cap hell coupled with the Jones boys don’t spend money on improving the roster.

The best teams hire the best coaches not ones who can't prepare teams for the playoffs.

The best teams when they are knocking on the door of contention become active in free agency and fill the holes that need to be filled to get them over the top or at least try.

The best teams employ
professionals to scout and build a championship roster

The best teams no when to get rid of players and how to make the best use of players on their rookie contracts.

The best teams have owners that really want to win championships not just be on television every week and have the most valuable franchise.

We have none of this and as a result we are not one of the best teams just a team that beats enough bad teams to make it to the tournament.

Mahomes is better than he ever was now that the Chiefs cut back on O and went to a Defensive philosophy. Chiefs were 15th in point scored last year. 2nd in points allowed.
And Mahomes isn't the highest paid player in NFL history. Imagine that.......

He’s like Brady, take less to win….it pays off on the back end for sure. He will make PLENTY of money anyway, but the super bowls and legacy will be better for taking a few million less (which he makes in endorsements).

Though of course by now its quite possible he could end up making more outside of his contract overall as famous as he has gotten.

This is not a ringing endorsement for Dak, but why should he take less? The Jones aren’t going to use the money he gives up to truly better the team.

The best team keeps fans coming back over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again, no matter how inept they are. They do what they want and the fans cheer, hope, complain, whine, etc...,but they keep coming back.

And signed a team friendly contract so his team could push money down the road and stay in super bowl contention.

If Mahomes insists on a Dak-like contract, the Chiefs don't win the last 2 super bowls.

That's a post that's out of place.

He isn’t now but he was when he signed his contract . And most likely he’ll renegotiate before his 10 year 450 million contract matures.

It’s all about when you signed. Unfortunately QB’s contracts aren’t usually a pecking order.

Sure but what teams are willing to offer a record 10 year contract commitment. Not many.

Yea, it’s very rare. When Mahomes signed his contract was a record high deal. 10 years 450 million . Nobody gets a 10 year deal.

He’ll be renegotiating before his deal is up. QB’s contracts aren’t a pecking order. Market price is about when you signed. And why Dak was 14th highest paid before this contract.
