The certainty of uncertainty

I'm certain we have the talent to win this game.
I am also certain we have the ability to play turnover free and with very limited penalties.

I am very uncertain if our kicking game is back on the rails or if it will be our undoing in this game.

So I believe serious preparations need to be made because as we saw this is an area that can go crazy bad at any time for no reason.

Dak as our leader is going to have to have this in the back of his mind at all times and play with a sense of urgency that protects us against a bad kicking game.
I believe he is going to have to make even more plays with his legs than he did last game .

Missed field goals will get us killed we have to keep drives going and score touchdowns.

Dak is going to have to somehow make these drives go to the end zone and I believe him running is going to be a big part of it

We just seem to be incredibly inconsistent in all phases of the game. Our floor level of play isn’t very good and it’s seems rare that we are playing well in all three phases at the same time.

This is true it is hard to get all phases playing well but I believe in this game we are going to need some type of a kicking game and if we don't have it some drastic measures are going to have to be taken.

It would really be a shame if everyone else was playing pretty well and are kicking game was so bad that it just ruined the game for us and a couple missed field goals could do just that

It's just a lot for Dak to have to have on his plate and compensate for.
Having a suspect kicking game is one thing but having one that just goes completely non-existent is a whole different story.

We were fortunate it didn't matter last week. Kicking lost us a couple of games in 2021. I hope Maher finds his swing -- he has been solid all year.

The fact there was no warning of this and it just reared it's ugly head is what's kind of scary.

Everyone has really done their part on this team to salvage this season and make it into something special.

To have the whole thing undone in the end and end up in the junk pile because we can't kick extra points would be a travesty.
We need to try and prepare for this as difficult as it may be I think it's going to require a more aggressive approach.

Dak is going to have to run more we may have to go for it on 4th down more than we normally would and attempt to point conversions and make them.

D4K using his legs more to generate offense and first downs is promising. He may need to continue that. Bring back Mississippi State D4K and get on the move more.

Yep I don't think we're going to have a choice
Three and out is a death sentence in this game.
Especially with our kicking game being a giant? At this point

Maher had a terrible game, it happens...he will bounce back this week...I just wonder if this team is going to be able to match intensity for 60 mins of play
