I just want to know where Ray Rhodes is.

No one would be lethargic or whiny with him around.

He'd kick butt! The anti-Wade.

Which Coaches do you think will be fired? To assist in this I provide the Head Coaches for all 32 teams.

Wade Phillips, Cowboys
Tom Coughlin, Giants
Andy Reid, Eagles
Jim Zorn, Commanders

Lovie Smith, Bears
Rod Maranelli, Lions
Mike McCarthy, Packers
Brad Childress, Vikings

Mike Smith, Falcons
John Fox, Panthers
Sean Payton, Saints
Jon Gruden, Buccaneers

Ken Whisenhunt, Cardinals
Jim Haslet, Rams
Mike Holgren, Seahawks (already announced he is leaving)
Mike Singletary, 49ers

Dick Jauron, Bills
Tony Sparano, Dolphins
Bill Belicheck, Patriots
Eric Mangini, Jets

John Harbaugh, Ravens
Marvin Lewis, Bengals
Romeo Crennel, Browns
Mike Tomlin, Steelers

Gary Kubiak, Texans
Tony Dungy, Colts (already announced he is leaving)
Jack Del Rio, Jaguars
Jeff Fisher, Titans

Mike Shanahan, Broncos
Herm Edwards, Chiefs
Tom Cable, Raiders
Norv Turner, Chargers

I think the teams looking for coaches will be...

Seattle
Indianapolis
Cincinnati
Cleveland
Jacksonville
Detroit
Kansas City
Rams
Raiders

I don't think Del Rio is leaving. That's a small market and their offensive line was decimated all season long. That running game of Taylor and MJD was their bread and butter.

I do think they will make some changes on their defensive coaching staff though because when they lost Smith the Falcons that side of the football took a huge hit for them.

Sort of like our offense taking a hit because Sparano left.

I also don't think Marvin Lewis is out in Cincy either. If they didn't get rid of him with all that BS going on for the last few years they will likely give him another shot next season. Plus Carson Palmer was down all year.

If it was me I get rid of Lewis in a heartbeat. But the Bengals just love the punishment I guess.

I think Dungy will coach another year, I'll probably be dead wrong on that though.

Also, I think Herman Edwards has saved his job by ending the year on a high note, especially if he comes out with a win tomorrow.

You can add Buffalo to that mix. Dick Jauron's been there too long and missed the playoffs too many times.

Also, don't think Jacksonville will be looking.

Jauron is going to be back, he just signed a contract extension. As did Del Rio in Jax.

Seattle really shouldnt be on the list, because Jim Mora Jr is gonna be the next coach. SF made Singletary permanent. Indy also has Jim Caldwell already tabbed as HC, so take them off. Jax recently signed Del Rio to a huge extension, he isnt leaving. I doubt the Brown's (as in Mike Brown) fire Marvin Lewis. Cleveland, Detroit, KC, Rams and Raiders all definitely getting new people. I think whomever loses that game tomorrow night between Denver and SD might be added to the list as well.

Do you guys really think Wades job is safe if we lose on Sunday? I don't care what Jerry says. If the Cowboys lose on Sunday there is no way he goes into next season at the new stadium with Wade Phillips as the head coach.

I think Jerry has made up his mind to keep Wade for 1 more season because Garrett is not ready yet.

Another year under Garrett's belt should make him ready to take over as HC, or at least that is what Jerry is probably thinking. So, the only way to do this is to keep Wade for another season because sombody like Cowher is going to want a mulit-year contract, lots of money, and lots of control. This would kinda kill the idea of Garrett taking over in 2010.

Also, Jerry was too adament the other day about not making a coaching change, he started using profanity at a reporter he got so mad. To then turn around and do the exact thing the media was accusing him of "planning to do" would make Jerry look like a freaking joke.

So I think Wade's job is safe for 2009 and then Garrett takes over as HC in 2010. Thats how I see things shaping up.

I think your team looking for coaches list is good minus Seattle, Indy and Cincy. Jim Mora Jr and Caldwell will be the new HC's of their current teams and Lewis will continue to coach Cincy because their owner is extremely cheap and will not want o pay out the rest of Marvin's contract. Marvin does need to go though. If he doesn't get to stay that will be 1 hot 34 DC for those types of teams to chase.

I know his D has stunk in Cincy but he's not running the 34 and they haven't had any talent on that side of the ball. No running game either to kill someclock and keep them off the field.

I would also add the Texans as most likely looking for a new HC and Kubiak would be a very hot OC hire as well. Norv loses to the Broncos and he deserves to be on that list also. Shawne Merriman's injury is not a good enough excuse with the talent that team has.

He may get fired, but it's very doubtful.

The Texans can't fire Kubiak, he's the best they can do until they put together a winning season.

I think Jack Del Rio is safe in Jacksonville as well, one bad season in an otherwise impressive resume won't do him in.

What if Wade retires?

That's a possibility too.

Jerry talks him into retiring and he takes his entire salary left on the contract with him.

Would Wade get another HC job if he isn't with the Cowboys next season?

I don't think so. And I am not sure Wade wants another shot as a DC anywhere either where he is being bossed around by a younger head coach.
