The Commanders are terrible this year

With that said, its Dallas week, so I need to at least make an appearance here, and remind everyone "throw out the records when these 2 teams play"

But the Commanders are terrible. In one of those odd paradox's of fandom, the more our team loses the better the future is. The more thing appear broken, the greater the odds something gets done.

Regardless for 3 hours on Sunday, I want the Commanders to win and win big. Yesterday was a fantastic day, 70 degrees a little breeze sunny and a 10 point win.

So what do I expect against your 'Boys?

I expect the usual hard fought game. The Commanders will come in play hard and play physical. I expect Brian Orakpo to play very well in his return to Texas and the Commanders D to be ready

I expect the Dallas D will also be ready. Jason Campbell will probably get sacked 5 times. It will be much tougher to run. There will be some drives put together, but it'll be a big struggle

My heart- Commanders 17 Dallas 14

My head- Dallas 21 Commanders 13, with the 'Boys getting a TD in the 4th around 5:00 minutes left to make it 21-6, and JC leading a late drive for a garbage TD with under a minute left to give you the final 21-13 margin

Do us all a favor and cover Miles Austin sort of like you covered Brandon Marshall in the first quarter of yesterday's game.

Too bad for your 'Boys, Carlos Rogers is benched :lmao:

As with last season in Dallas, if the D can prevent the big play, there is a chance.

I actually feel better about this coming game then I did last year in Dallas.

Why? Well because its better for the Commanders to lose. So of course they will win

What an excellent opponent to take some frustrations out on.

i think we make the playoffs if we pull off the next 2 games even with a losing december.this game is that important.

Did they not just beat Denver?

Yes they did. I would think they come to Dallas feeling pretty good however I think after yesterdays game the Cowboys are going to take it out on the Commanders this weekend

Denver has lost three in a row, so I kinda wonder how good they are. Maybe it's just a slump, though.

I can't think of the last time either team "took it out" on the other. Since the 2006 Sunday game, these have all been fairly close (with exception to the last game of 2007)

I'd expect this to be a one score game when the final whistle blows.

You guys have healthier talent available, although losing Colombo is going to hurt.

Greg Blanche did get the best of Red Jesus in Dallas last year.

So who knows. If we had a competent offense my head would feel much better about this game.

No matter how terrible the Commanders are, they play us tough. This game is going to be won on a field goal. Gonna be real close.

If we have to rely on FOLK to win a game we are screwed. He has been terrible this year and missed a chip shot in GB. Even his extra points have been close.

I was glad to see your team win yesterday. It's obvious to everyone except the homers over at ES that the skins aren't going anywhere this year (there was on thread over there that has the skins going 10-6 now), so a 7-9/ 8-8 record would be fine with me so long as none of the wins are against us. The more they win, the lower the draft pick. No playoffs, middle of the pack draft pick...sounds good to me.

This game will now be even more tough than it would have anyway. With them winning, and getting a bit of confidence, and with us losing to Greenbay this game just got a lot tighter.

Uh, are you serious?

Nobody on ES believe the Commanders are going 10-6. :lmao2:

The "8 in a row or we don't go" thread is more of a joke then anything

Hell, ES has been ground zero for expressing fan discontent, mailing in fan cards and just fan anger at the organization

Please, you can talk trash, but don't just flat out make things up

Awww yes. Good old Deadskins / Cowboys week.

These games are always tough, almost always close.

Dallas has lost their angriest biggest chip on his shoulder player in Marc Columbo. Difficult to overcome this. Lost some nastiness there that is going to be needed in this game and in future games with NYG and Philly.

Dallas should win this game. But, of course, it will be a tough close battle. LIke they all are.

The Cowboys got their can kicked yesterday by a mediocre team that won't make the playoffs.

They shouldn't take anyone lightly. The Commanders could very well win this game. Especially if the Dallas OL plays like it did yesterday.
