I don’t believe this would’ve been the Cowboys game plan if Rodgers doesn’t go down. The focus would’ve been getting after Rodgers and not letting him carve you up or beat you deep.

I believe the Jets will employ the exact same game plan against us. They are one of the few defenses capable of enforcing their will on teams and making them play their way.

This game is going to come down to who plays better between Wilson and Dak.

SF had a full complement of offensive weapons and an elite OL.

Jets are an average OL, with a few weapons on offense. But they aren’t Aiyuk, Deebo, Kittle and CMAC running behind Trent Williams.

Dallas needs to run the ball and maintain the clock. Force Wilson to beat you. He will eventually make a mistake.

Jets defense is way better than the Giants. This won't be game 1 by any means. Dallas SHOULD win this, but like all of us with Dallas PTSD, this is exactly the type of circumstance and game where they can lose.

we shut down deebo and cmac for a long stretch in that playoff game, wasnt until they got gassed out we lost that containment later in the 2nd half.
Hopefully offense can better complement that and not 3 n out every drive.

I have no doubt that Dak is the better, wiser QB....that said, I'm glad Mike is calling the game instead of Kellen.
Mike will throw lots of short passes and stay ahead of the chains, making 3rd down easier. Don't be surprised if we run the ball on 3rd and long at least 2-3 times just to punt and play field position. I'm more worried about our defense stopping the run. We were poor vs NY on the opening drive and better when the game caved in on them. We saw when Rodgers went down that NY will not give up on the run game and will keep coming at you with Hall and Cook; Hall is scary when he gets any room at all.

Our Defense has not been this good in a long while.we can stop the run reasonably well we should cover the spread.
