I think the game comes down to this. The Cowboys need to contain Nacua. He's a very good player, and he's capable of taking over the game. I'd probably put Gillmore on Kupp because I think he can handle him. As for Nacua, I think DQ should put Bland on him and give Bland some help at first with a safety, until it's clear that Bland can handle him. Nacua has looked deadly so far this season.

We have to make sure we don’t get so caught up with stopping Kupp and Nacura that we fall asleep against the run. They’re going to try and do some damage on the ground to keep Parsons off Stafford.

lol Gilmore is really good..

Has he lost a step? Sure.. But for as quick as our pass rush is he still plays ar a high level.

Yeah, Parsons will be key. And Gilmore is pretty good, but Nacua has to be shut down if we are to have a chance.

...we have the personal to take care of business. Defense has been good overall, not giving up big plays.

The Rams will be overwhelmed by our talent. It's something you can't prepare for.

I haven't watched a snap of Nacua, so i'm intrigued to finally watch him play. It's extremely rare for lower round draft pick rookie WRs to have this much success early on...

Hes been electric for the Rams. I wish we'd drafted him.

Best thing to do is to pressure Stafford , people acting like that wide receiver is Jesus in cleats LOL

Yes, pressuring Stafford is key. That said, that Nacua kid has been deadly in a lot of the games he's played. Thus, why I think DQ should put emphasis on stopping him.

Who else was Stafford going to throw the ball to?

Their only other receiver while Cupp was injured was Tutu Atwell and he's been a huge disappointment for them.

Nacua is the 2nd most targeted receiver in the league. For all receivers with 30 or more receptions, he is ranked 15th in catch percentage. Incidentally, CeeDee is ranked 2nd in catch percentage.

I think our secondary gets to pad some stats.

Kupp and Nacua as a duo is enough to worry about. And Atwell is similar to Turpin with his size/speed, maybe faster.

But it basically comes down to the Cowboys DL pressuring Stafford. If the DL can't win their matchup vs a subpar Rams OL, it will be a long day IMO.

I just watched his 2023 highlights and noticed that they use him on that underneath crosser a lot.

That allows Stafford to get the ball out fast with RAC success.

Besides last year, the Rams have used our over-aggressive pass rush against us with RB/TE screens and shallow crossers.

Expect to see those a lot this game.
