The Crowd at Cowboys Stadium

Anyone else get irritated at the fans at Cowboy's home games. Most of the time they don't know when to yell and when to shut up. We will be in the redzone and stadium will be so loud Romo can't make his calls. On the other hand we will be on defense and you can plainly here the other quarterback making his calls. We should be raising the roof when we are on defense. It drives me crazy. I understand making some noise for a good play but shut up when the Cowboys are on the line of scimmage with the ball.

I remember a game I went to at Texas Stadium where they actually
put "Quiet, we're on offense" up on the board. Cowboys fans are smarter than that. Watch an Indy home game you can almost hear a pin drop it's so quiet when Peyton is up on the line making his adjustments. We need to make home field a real advantage. I'm just not sure what can be done about it.

Just wanted to vent a little about something that bothers me.

GO COWBOYS!!

I noticed that too I was at the Giants game when they played us at home and there were 3-4 times Tony and some of the WR's had to motion to keep the noise down. We can't have our homefield work against us

Oh, come on!

It's a weekly tradition here at the Zone -- castigating the Cowboys stadium crowd.

There are people on here who will blame the fans for the Cowboys current malaise before they'll blame the owner.

:laugh2:

I think it would be prudent at this juncture for everybody to put the number of games attended in their signature or somewhere else where its mandatory.

It happens in New Orleans as well. I specifically remember watching Drew Brees trying to quiet the crowd down at least a couple of times against the Giants.

I witness it in numerous stadiums on a weekly basis.

Yeah. I'm sure it happens in places where people consider the fans to be "smart" or "diehard".

40+ games

People just get excited when we have the ball. You will notice it best (worse?) when we just pulled off a good play and the QB is tying to line everybody (Bennett?) up.

Offense is and has always been more exciting than defense. The fans react accordingly.

It's not right, but I doubt it will change.

OH NO....not this lame thread again.......can't people give it a rest, or is this what people bring up just because they need to start a thread and can't think of anything better.

I miss the 50,000 threads a day on T.O. now.

I agree the fans at Cowboys Stadium are rather dumb... Either they get loud at the wrong time or don't sustain the loudness when the other team has the ball.
