The Dallas Football Team, is talented, but that is not enough.

The Browns, have two great edge rushers, two good RB's, decent receivers, a good Oline, and a serviceable QB.

Dallas, has an average defense, two decent RB's, good receivers, an average Oline, and a good QB.

San Fran, has a good defense, one average RB and one spectacular gadget player, decent receivers, a decent Oline, and a serviceable QB.

The Rams, have a good defense, decent RB's, excellent receivers, an average Oline, and a good QB.

The Chiefs, have a decent defense, decent RB's, excellent receivers, an average Oline, and an excellent QB.

The Bengals, have a decent defense, decent RB's (Mixon is good), excellent receivers, an average Oline, and a good QB.

The Browns were added, just to appease those that love individual play. The four remaining teams play as a team, unified and committed to winning. Any weaknesses are overshadowed, due to awareness and game planning, to compensate for those weaknesses.

It does not matter how talented a team is; if they have no cohesion, discipline, or sound management. The remaining teams have weaknesses, but coaching, intelligence, along with unified team performance, is why they are still playing.

Opinions vary, so all opinions are welcome.

No, I cannot call them a name that is reserved for champions.

Don't see those have anything to do with other. It's not like teams call themselves the "Philadelphia Champions" or the "San Francisco Winners" or the Green Bay Victors".

Teams have nicknames, usually to denote toughness, meanness, skill or whatever (still don't get the Saints, who's afraid of a saint?).

That's all Cowboys is, something to differentiate them from a city basketball, soccer or other team.

But like you said, that's your opinion, you're entitled to it...

After watching SF DL dominate both us and GB, both better overall teams, it's hard for me to take anyone seriously who doesn't list DL as one of our top 3 needs.

Yeah, but it's not Jerry's fault, I mean he's drafted DTs, like top NFL players such as Kevin Pritchitt, Michael Myers, Willie Blade, Joey Ivie and Sean Lissemore.

:omg:

Don't forget Ken Bishop and Montavius Stanley!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry's actions are just maddening. Who was one of his best secondary players? Darren Woodson, an undersized (for the NFL) linebacker with good speed, who Dallas converted to a darn good strong/free safety.

But has he tried to do that again? Nope, nothing like ignoring lessons of the past....

Woodson was very fast w/ excellent lateral agility. I doubt Jerry even knows what lateral agility means.

His coaches do, all Jerry has to do is listen to them, or ask "hey, we had good success with D. Woodson, can we try that again?"
