The Dallas Cowboys will be running more of a West Coast Offense and here is why

They must get some PS game plays. A few series at least in each game, and at least 1 quarter or so in another.
Agreed. I would say more is needed during them preseason games since a whole new system is being introduced. Best to be better prepared before the regular season starts. Can't afford to use the regular season to get acclimated to the new west coast system.

Getting 20 yard completions regularly is pretty important through this season.
Why do you keep saying this? The Cowboys were among the league leaders in this category when Dak was healthy and were Top-5 in both 2021 and 2019.

I'm not saying those plays aren't important, but the Cowboys are strong in that department.

I can’t imagine risking playing our starters more in preseason just to acclimate a new system which should be fine tuned in practice and scrimmages where our starters can be more protected from injury.

Dak will be expected to improve the time needed to deliver the ball to his receivers. It should prove interesting to see how that situation develops. Can he be counted upon to show one and all that he's capable of doing that? Coach McCarthy will hopefully be able to get that from Dak in 2023.

I mostly agree with this. Dak needs things a little simpler to excel IMO. Quicker decisions. Quicker reads. PAP and strong running game to keep the defense honest. Shorter throws. All of these things play into what he does best and will help him and our Offense. Personally I think Dak has a really good season

If the start of last season was any indication (the starters started 2020 very badly, plus they didn't play all of preseason for the very same reason you stated above), these Cowboys definitely need to play a good amount this upcoming preseason, especially since they are integrating a new offensive system.

Doesn’t matter, they are all vanilla in preseason.
